The Pestana Viking is a 4-star clifftop hotel in Porches-Armação de Pêra, in the Algarve, 2 minutes on foot from Senhora da Rocha beach. It is one of the most sought-after areas in the Algarve and local life is lively year round. The hotel is surrounded on three sides by grand gardens. Palm trees and green grass lead the way to the beach.

There are many types and views: the superior rooms are located on the higher floors and feature a dazzling view over the sea, the standard rooms are generously sized and have enough room for an extra bed or a cot. All rooms, regardless of their type, feature equipped kitchenettes with a small refrigerator and a microwave. The suites have 1 or 2 bedrooms, with the corresponding number of bathrooms, so that everyone can have as much privacy as possible.

In a region where there are a number of different gastronomic influences, the 2 restaurants and 2 bars were designed to satisfy all tastes and palates, placing great importance on originality, quality and service. In our restaurant „Valhalla“ you may enjoy our daily buffet and also our „à-la-carte“ menu. As an alternative, or just for an apetizer, our Tapas can offer you the taste of iberian Tapas. During the summer time our Pool Bistro provides a variety of snacks, light mels, salad buffet and a variety of grilled meat anf fish (coal). A further option is the Italian Restaurant where you will find the national gastronomic specialities.
